What if a snail and a bee had a baby? 🐌💖🐝 We will never know, but we can have some idea as to how powerful those opposites can be since I received the Snail Bee Ultimate Toner from Benton Cosmetics and Picky(@go.picky @pickyrewards) in exchange for my honest review.
This product is meant for the summertime, so you know I had to try this for you. I tested this product for two to three weeks in my morning and nighttime skincare routines to come up with my opinions below. This blog post was not obligated and is being published for people who want to do their research on consumer reviews before trying new skincare products for themselves.
A Vegan Way to Get Smooth Skin
Snail Bee Ultimate Toner (150 mL) costs $24.00 USD on Stylevana if you want to find an inexpensive, long-lasting solution to stay hydrated and moisturized. This vegan and cruelty-free formula uses snail secretion (skin recovery) and bee venom (collagen stimulant) to moisturize and heal your skin. Benton designed this product with a focus on dry skin, mature skin, and sensitive skin types to protect their skin barriers while preventing breakouts.
This toner may seem simple, but that’s what it’s supposed to be: a simple solution to improve your skin barrier. I went on my skincare journey because I had a damaged skin barrier from using incompatible skincare products and not taking care of my physical and mental health. Those imbalances can cause an explosion of acne that seemed so difficult to get rid of. Since Benton’s Snail Bee Ultimate Toner is a combination of soothing and moisture-retaining ingredients, you should know that it is sure to improve and hydrate your skin.
By the way, you can purchase this product at a cheaper price and with 10% off your total if you buy it with my discount code INF10OHMY at Stylevana. If you purchase at least $59 USD worth of your Kbeauty essentials on Stylevana, you can get 15% off your order with that same discount code. I do receive a small percentage of the commission if you use my code.
Here are a few of the ingredients listed that make this toner the perfect addition to your summer skin routine:
- Snail Secretion Filtrate: The remnants of a snail moving along turns out to be a slimey surprise for your skin. Not only is it moisturizing, it is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory for your skin. This ingredient is great for dry and mature skin types that are more prone to wrinkles.
- Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Water: Green tea is an anti-aging ingredient since it contains antioxidants that protect your skin and help it look young and plump.
- Bee Venom: Turns out, bee venom can bring your skin back to life! It has anti-aging properties since bee venom can encourage blood flow to your skin to bring in more oxygen, nutrients, collagen, and elastin. These components are all essential for healthy skin. If you want to look and feel more awake, maybe it’s time to try bee venom.
- Sholigopeptide-1: This is another important ingredient for anti-aging products because it is used to encourage skin cell growth.
- Betaine: Betaine is anti-inflammatory and anti-aging. It can be used in cosmetics to retain water in your skin so you can maintain your youthful glow.
- Diospyros Kaki (Persimmon) Leaf Extract: Persimmons have anti-aging properties because they contain antioxidants. So, they can help with protecting from the effects of free radicals that can age your skin.
- Laminaria Digitata (Algae) Extract: Seaweed contains vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that support and protect your skin from loosing hydration.
- Althaea Rosea (Marshmallow) Root Extract: Marshmallow can soothe and hydrate your skin. It also has anti-fungal properties that help clear breakouts of infection-causing bacteria.

Simple and Travel-Friendly Packaging
The packaging is a very simple plastic bottle that does a good job of keeping the toner solution inside. I personally like it because the label is easy to peel so you can recycle the bottle or reuse it. Most likely I’m going to wash the bottle to reuse for travel, so I love how considerate Benton was to have an eco-friendly brand.
Simple Formula
The toner solution can be mistaken for water if you didn’t read the label closely. It is a clear, unscented formula that doesn’t seem special. However, you can notice its difference once you apply the product to your skin. It leaves a thin layer of moisture that leaves your skin with a light sheen.
Perfect for My Dry Skin
I use 3-4 drops in my morning and night routines right after washing my face. Initially, you would think that this is just like water. My dry skin wouldn’t feel dehydrated or irritated. Instead, it looked soothe and dewy. There was a slight slipperiness to this toner to my skin, but it was a good foundation for my skin to better absorb my serums and moisturizer.
New Face Wash Alternative
Dry skin is more likely to form wrinkles due to water loss, so I stopped washing my face in the morning. Instead, I used this to bring moisture back into my skin and I love it a lot! It doesn’t sting my face and has helped with lightening my blemishes. My skin has not had any prominent breakouts except for some white heads every then and there. Someone even asked about my skincare routine because they said my skin looked so smooth. This was one of the products I was using, so there’s some proof that this toner is working.
Would I repurchase?
Yes! I highly recommend this for newbies to skincare (especially for damaged skin barriers) because it’s an easy-to-use product. Dry and mature skin would love this formula due to the collagen production focus. It’s a stellar toner, and I really wish I had a product like this when my skin barrier was so damaged.
I actually think this product would be amazing as a spray mist for on-the-go touch-ups or for an alternative to washing my face. I use mists for the morning because dry skin is more wrinkle-prone, so Benton, please answer my prayer. 😂🙏🏼
