Ariana Grande recently celebrated her 27th birthday on June 26! I’m sure you’ve seen that she had a cute Midsommar themed get-together with her family and friends. She’s always been known to love the horror genre.
If you have seen her birthday spam on Instagram, you probably thought that her makeup look was undeniably fabulous! With such a simple get-up, I’m sure there’s one specific detail you couldn’t get your eyes off of: her cute eyelashes.
From first glance, you would think it was just another cute Instagram filter. However, those lashes were actually a custom pair with a whimsical floral touch!
The pair of falsies were created by makeup artist, Michael Anthony, who described them as “custom lil flowery lashy situations” in his birthday post for the pop star. Once you saw her full-on Midsommar outfit, you would see that those lashes were the perfect touch for the horror movie-loving birthday girl’s celebration!

Step 2: Use a reliable lash glue to hold your whimsical floral details.
For a sweet lash like Ariana Grande’s, you’re going to need a sturdy lash glue to hold everything together! Use your lash glue to apply the flowery decals.
You don’t need to use a lot of lash glue for this project, honestly. I’d say just a drop or two of lash glue and you will get the fluttery lashes you desire. Just make sure you seal the deal by pressing your flower decals to the lashes so that the glue is securing them together. You don’t want the flowers to just fly away!
