What is a “Koshort?”
If you’re unfamiliar with the term “Koshort,” it’s a cute abbreviation to the Korean shorthair breed. This cute little cat is known for its long fur, adorable big eyes, and its curious personality. These traits are what make the breed so popular among Koreans. Although their origin is not clear-cut, Korean shorthair cats have been around since the 8th century.
The Korean shorthair cats come in multiple colors, usually gray or orange, and are known for their distinct stripes. If you are allergic to these beautiful babies, then maybe you can settle with this cute makeup collection instead.
Koshort in Seoul Eyeshadows
What stopped me in my tracks to talk about this collection was their eyeshadow palettes. Sure, the shades are so nice and perfect for warm-toned, everyday looks. The main focal point that set them apart from other makeup palettes had to be the oh-so-adorable stickers.
Clio Cosmetics is marketing this as a unique customization experience for buyers since you can decorate your palette however you’d like! They did such an amazing job with the small details. For example, some of the eyeshadow shades have little paw print embossings on them. So it can look like you’re touching a cute cat paw if you apply the eyeshadow with your fingers.
The first palette that Clio Cosmetics released for this collection is called “Napping Cheese.” The inspiration for this palette comes from the fact that Koshorts can have a cheese scent. So, they’re basically like having a napping cheese buddy as a pet. Would you like to have a pet like that?
The stickers are probably what seal the deal because it has a cute kitty napping with cheese (because the palette is called “Napping Cheese”). I’m such a sucker for cute packaging and punny names, so take a look at the palette for yourself down below.

Clio Cosmetics didn’t want to leave the gray Koshorts or cool-tone lovers out of this amazing collection. They have another version for people who prefer cool-toned pinks or mauves, which I think is also a good everyday palette to have on hand.
This second palette is called “Lazy Soft Paw” and is inspired by another cute aspect of the Koshort cat: their paws. Clio Cosmetics described their paws as fun to touch, like a gummy bear. This is why you see the gummy bear eyeshadow in their palette.
I don’t know which palette I find cuter because this palette has gummy bear stickers. I dare you to try and choose just one palette to buy. Take a peek at the shade names because they’re so cute to read.

Koshort Will Save My Skin, Too
The last part of the collection might be my favorite because it’s a customizable foundation cushion. The Koshort Kill Cover Founwear Cushion is SPF 50 and PA++++ so it can provide protection from UVA and UVB rays for longer periods of time compared to the usual sunscreens. As someone who doesn’t wear foundation much because of the lack of SPF, my eyes are set on purchasing this cushion to try out.
Like all other aspects of this collection, the Koshort inspo is seen with this product. You have cute food stickers but also an adorable set of cat pawprints on the cushion itself. There is also a cat paw-shaped foundation puff inside! Talk about ultimate attention to detail.
The foundation is available in three shades only, with the darkest being Ginger. If you have a fair to light-medium skin tone, this foundation can work out for you. Korean makeup usually has more lighter skin tones, so the shade range isn’t as wide as Western makeup brands.

Cat Lovers and Makeup Lovers Unite
Whether or not you love cats, we can definitely agree that this collection has something for everyone! If I had to choose something to purchase, I probably would try out the foundation cushion because of the SPF. Catch me wearing it out this summer!
